He’s just prone to picking a side and running with it for the rest of that particular case. It’s not ideal and I cannot tell what prompts him to pick a particular side.

Judge Maslow has many of the key qualities that we should want in a judge. He wants to get it right and will read the parties' motion papers and research the law. He can also be convinced that a prior ruling was in error and will reverse himself. I saw no hint of arrogance on his part. Just be aware that you must read his part rules and know your case.
