Abe "Quint" Shafer

Facts and evidence do not matter to this judge. It's as if he lives in some alternate universe. Backroom deals and threats to counsel are how he operates. Beware! I would give him a 0 if I could.

"Quint" Shafer doesn't care what the law, the legal precedent, case law, or common sense say. He judges based on whatever benefits his personal beliefs, bias, and his close knit group of lawyer and "expert" confidants say. He is perfectly comfortable with ex parte communication and legally indefensible backroom deals. Whatever makes his buddy's money is what prevails in his court. He gets a 1 star only because 0 is not an option.

Do not expect Justice in his Courtroom. Facts and evidence don't matter with Judge Shafer.

Multiple direct violations of Missouri and Federal law. Ignores known litigant / lawyer violations of court procedures, contempt, perjury, forgery, dishonesty, lying to officials, falsification of documents, etc. Openly threatens litigants. Observed this judge tell a pro se litigant they were not allowed to speak, could not submit evidence, could not respond to accusations, nor could disagree with his ruling. Due process how exactly? Acts like a God in the courtroom rather than a public servant. Incredibly biased . Questionable business and personal ties. Only uses small group of GALs, therapists, and "professionals". Lawyers not in "club" avoid him like the plague and request change of judge as soon as he shows up on the docket. Avoid at all costs.
