One of the BEST judges I have had the pleasure litigate with in court in my 20+ years of experience. Extremely bright & Fair. The law she did not know immediately she quickly got to know....

I had an environmental matter before Judge Jones and she was terrific. She read the pleadings and was well-versed in the law. She heavily leaned on the parties to settle, and even allowed time for us to conduct settlement discussions pre-trial. A wonderful judge, and a role model for Black lawyers. Not easy to be a trailblazer, which is likely why there are so many bitter comments about her.

Embarrassing that she is a judge

This judge delves deeply into personal grievances. She does not appear to respect the people and attorneys appearing in court.

DQ her the first chance you get.

This woman ought to be disbarred. Her unwillingness to let a DD person have a say in her own conservatorship hearing, OR the attorney she hired, is despicable. Over and again Alesia (I refuse to refer to her as a judge, as that would require the ability to remain unbias, and willing to hear ALL of the evidence, and check it to the fact, rather than assumption or creation by either party) held bias to one side from the word 'go' and the opposing side was demeaned, spoken to in a condescending manner, actually told not to speak, after accusations against their client. And the client being Developmentally Disabled, was NEVER allowed to speak on her own behalf. So basically her attorney was told not allowed in the courts, and only a PD was allowed. Fortunate for this adult woman with Different Abilities got THE BEST PD in Solano Cty - Atty Joseph Reyes, who really cared and gave her a voice. ONLY by his tenacity against Alesia's bullying, and the COWARD/BULLY (aren't they all?) eventual removing herself from the case bc she knew she was toast, did the DD see justice served! Rest assured that both a submission to the Solano County Grand Jury for an investigation, as well as a submission of complaint to the CA Judicial Council will ensue against Alesia.

Wow! Judge Jones is intense, sarcastic, and a bit disconnected from the people appearing in front of her. She does not treat people well.

I assumed the justice system would be fair and non bias ,I was wrong after my case in her court for a constructed eviction by my slunlord and her attorney who was prior mayor of vallejo and who has ties to Judge Jones . I had many defenses avulable to me housing is key app assigned to case manager ( told me california says that but its not true no protection for evictions for back rent ) having ,domestic violence survivor restraing order in effect, covud 19 protections,implied warranty of hability code violations by solano county,and proof of plantiffs forged documents to protect his clients ass by failing to obtain renters relief ,Judge Jones ignored all she was rude, told me "I lacked a degree as attorney . She praised plaintiffs attorney and wet as far as FIXING the summons servered to me that was not complete ,dates incorrect . And of course made a judgement in there favor ... She feels shes GOD and above the laws.
