Amy Hawthorne

If you’re trying to protect yourself or your family and you get her as a judge, RUN and request a new judge. She literally had a woman murdered, she refuses new order of protections. The most unprofessional, miserable judge I’ve ever come across.

Hon Judge Amy Hawthorne is by far the best Judge, that I have ever worked with, both professionally, and personally. She has a thorough understanding of the law, and she follows the law, 100 %. In addition, Hon Judge Hawthorne is highly (emotionally) intelligent. She is also able to read "between the lines", and quickly grasps the relevant issues. In our particular case, she saved our children's (professional) futures. Thank you, Judge Hawthorne. Bjoern Smith

This judge hates people being in her court room and literally tells people to solve their own problems. She is also very sexist against females, calling all females liars. On a past case, she denied a female a restraining order, calling her a liar, and unfortunately this female was murdered by the very party she sought a restraining order against which this judge denied. This judge sides with abusers. This judge refuses to protect or even speak with children, which I was informed by another party we wouldn't want to her speak with our children anyway because apparently, she treats children horrendously in her chambers. This judge needs to be taken off of the bench. She is clearly jaded.
