Could someone explain to me how a federal judge can be involved in a states right to control their own election procedures? I am particularly concerned how her opinions may be affected by asPXU relative who is a staff journalist, for a leftist organization like NPR, on states rights concerning elections.

school board lawyer, worked to beat teachers in due process hearings, now I know why she is very defense oriented in employment cases, loves power, particularly exercising power against the down trodden employees, total trojan horse from Obama

This judge does not respond to motions very quickly. Purely procedural motions, 2+ months, no ruling. This travesty of a Judge does not even address arguments raised in motions by pro se parties. Terrible! Judge Amy Totenberg literally copies and pastes arguments of lawyers into the opinion, does not address arguments. Cases I cited, like FTC v.s. North Carolina Board of Dental Examiners, totally ignored, not even cited by Judge Amy Totenberg. The dishonorable Amy Totenberg completely ignores all arguments raised by pro se parties even when the pro se party cites new Suprme Court precedents that directly contradict the resulting opinion. Complete disgrace. It's one thing to make a mistake, but another thing when the Judge doesn't even read your briefs. What a terrible Judge, complete disgrace.

Plaintiff Civil Litigation. She is fair and gets involved. I disagree that she is defense oriented and not a good draw for the plaintiff. I think she is pretty open minded and one of best draws in the Northern District of GA when a David and Goliath scenario.

I found the judge to have her own agenda, without regard to Northern District precedent. She is the last judge that I would want handling a case for a client. Very, very biased and opinionated. It is good that she is a federal judge or she would likely be replaced.

Don't let Judge Totenberg's liberal background or Obama appointment fool you. She is very pro-defense. If you are a plaintiff's lawyer in front of her, you need to be concerned.

A diligent jurist who is willing to make a party's arguments for them and to incorporate foreign law in her rulings to bring about a desired result.

very prompt, professional and actually easy on the eyes. As an Obama-Democratic appointee she seems biased towards defendants in civil cases

Perfectly prepared, very thorough understanding of the law, balanced and fair, great staff. A pleasure to work with every time. The most plaintiff friendly judge in the NDGA - by which I mean, balanced.

Seems to know the law and fair, but clearly defense friendly/inclined, which is no suprise - liberal, Jewish and Obama appointee from Maryland.
