Petitioning parent here. I felt Judge Richardson read the declaration and viewed exhibits. She was familiar with the request and reasons. I felt she was more than generous with respondent, listening to his rambling and excuses despite not responding to the RFO and providing no proof. I felt she held his hand throughout the process, which was frustrating at the time. Looking back, she made fair decisions based on the facts provided. By the way, perjury is non-existent in family court and ex lies consistently Also, judges have a lot of discretion in their rulings. With that said, family court is a marathon and it’s important to keep your side of the street clean. I hope Judge Richardson stays in family court.

I love Judge Richardson. I don't think any litigant could ask for a more fair, balanced judge who really cares about the cases and litigants in front of her. I miss her in family law but she loves civil.

I’ve already commented about this Judge and her lack of integrity. Too, I have read the comments of others that verify the Judges bias and inability to apply law and fact appropriately. Judge Richardson recently issued an order in my case that claimed I had not complied with the Court’s order, the order was not based upon fact or the record. I filed an RFO to correct that order attaching evidence of my compliance with the order (evidence that was provided to the Court months before) as well as transcripts of the hearing in question wherein I testified that I had complied with the Court’s orders. Not one party, not Petitioner, Minors’ Counsel or any other party disputes that I have fully complied with the court’s order. Yet, the Court, five months in, still has not corrected Judge Richardson’s erroneous order. There are two types of bias that can impact a case, one is explicit bias, the other is implicit bias. Assuming that the Judge is not acting intentionally (explicit), she is certainly engaging in implicit bias as her bias prevents her from separating fiction from reality. That is, her bias is so deep, that she cannot believe her lying eyes and/or ears. In short, facts simply don’t matter to her. I filed a complaint with the Commission on Judicial Performance. I encourage those that have a real legitimate complaint against this Judge to do the same. I am not encouraging baseless complaints … but real complaints should be brought against this Judge as she is destroying the lives of children and families because of her deep seated biases. Please note I’m a working black man with a clean criminal record that wants to be in his children life. The Hon. Anne K. Richardson is a Bias Judge. The reason i say this is I did everything my attorney recommended to take the mother(black) of my children to court because she took it upon herself to keep out our kids life. From 2022 to now April 4, 2023 I've seen my kids in person maybe 10 times and I only live 15 minutes away from them. I hired an attorney, submitted all the forms, Served my kids mom , and attended mediation. I signed my kids birth certificates at birth. Our children lived with me and their mother for 3 years. We have no cases of domestic violence between us. After the breakup my kids mom refuse to let me spend time with the kids without her. I see them through video calls and rarely in person . I saved enough money to go to court. I requested joint legal custody and wanted the kids for the holidays/ birthdays on the odd years or even whichever their mom chose. If I’m denied that all I wanted is visitation with the kids every other weekend and I would have been satisfied. Judge Anne K. Richardson had my documents in hand and Said “ I have no opposition from the mother “ she asked the mother of my children “what do you want? and why?” My kids mother put on the act of the century almost in tears. “ I’m a good mom , I’d do anything for my children i work go to school, he never been with the kids alone, he doesn’t say Hi to me( I kid you not she said that). Her answer had nothing to do what the judge asked. After saying all that she mentioned domestic violence between us and she doesn’t feel safe. She wanted me to have monitored visitation with her or a 3rd party and wanted me to get a DNA test which my attorney stated “ my client is not denying being the kids father “. The focus of this case was not about our children but about their mother. My kids mom had plenty of time to get her stuff in order. She came to court

Judge Richardson does not follow the law. It troubles me to say this, but she has a string bias against men. My wife physically assaulted me several times, I presented evidence of that fact. My wife denied ever assaulting me and the judge ruled that if she did, I was the one that was the primary aggressor. Strange turn of logic as by holding that if my wife assaulted me demonstrated that my wife perjured herself. Judge inventing arguments to support her bias. Absolutely horrible Judge and avoid at all cost.

This judge shows favortism towards specific attorney's. This judge does not follow the laws. This judge is biases towards self-represented litigants, and she retaliates if she is questioned. Horrible Judge I would avoid at all costs !

Having dealt with this character for 4 1/2 years I can state from experience the "mother" or woman is provided a favorable position compared to the father. I she. Proven time and time and time again of my ex wife's lies and attempts to alienate me from my boys and it's as though the judge doesn't care. My ex wife makes accusations without proof and the judge rules as if the accusations are true without proof. I'm a college graduate; a masters degree, a Vice President of a multi billion dollar corporation and I'm floored that she ignores the evidence I provide to refute my ex wife's claims: dads don't get a fair shake in LA Court, Ive experienced it first hand.

Avoid this judge at all costs. She is not interested in facts as she freely disregards facts and evidence of perjury due to what I feel is a strong bias against men. This judge makes a mockery of the legal system and the idea that justifies blind and fair.

My experience with this Judge as a litigant was a nightmare for me and my family. I'm convinced she communicated with opposing council outside of the courtroom, and I never had an opportunity to have a fair hearing, where my civil rights were violated, including a bias against me, having no fair opportunity for Due-Process. I now wear a Scarlet letter with a 3-year restraining order, which has destroyed my character, reputation, and has seperated me from my family. The DV has also put my career and future in jeopardy, including threats against me about serving time in prison if I make a mistake or harrass my ex ? There is no proof of me doing anything, and I have concrete proof that my ex physically attacked me, and also mentally abused me for over 3-years. I am non-violent, I have no history of violence, and I am against violence, and I have supported causes against violence for more than a decade, including helping fund and build womans shelters. I am deeply against violence against woman, and children. I have struggled with a cognitive brain disorder from multiple childhood brain injuries, which I have struggled with my entire life, and have dedicated my life to understand, and to fix my issues, and I have built a good life and business for my family, which this judge nearly destroyed, which has affected over 400 people directly (my hard working employees). Sadly this judge and courthouse taunted me, and used my disability against me. My child has been taken from me, and her life has sufferred at every level, and my child cries every time we are seperated after our short visitation periods. I never thought anything so terrible and unjust could happen in America. This Judge needs to try to understand both parties in her courtroom. She has a bias against men, and she never wanted to know anything about me, Im a great father who dedicated his life to his children, and his family, in the most respectful way, but this judge sided with a hot tempered, controlling Narci

If there was a rating of less than 1 that would be applicable. Horrible judge, completely prejudiced. Has no understanding of the law. Rules with her opinions and emotion. Avoid at all costs.
