` I am appalled at the verdict handed down by this judge in the Trump fraud trial. He discredits the legal profession and the integrity of the Court. His bias was obvious before the trial started based on his inappropriate comments. Just from my layman's legal perspective, who was harmed, who was victimized? The loans were repaid, with interest, the bank was happy and would not have given Trump the loan if there was any question about them being repaid or the valuations of the properties involved. it is my opinion that Arthur Engoran is guilty of judicial misconduct at the very least and has most likely violated several laws during this case, and in rendering his judgment and assessing penalties. I hope that the appellate court in reviewing this case and the verdict will overturn this egregious violation of the law. At this time they should severely sanction all involved and highly recommend that this judge be disbarred.
Opinion that this judge and prosecutor had already determined to attack Trump long before trial. Based on pre-election comments by prosecutor saying she would get Trump. It has been a long time since a group of people have gone into complete hysteria and hate for one man. Nothing mentioned of the crimes committed by Biden's, Clinton's, Dems, FBI etc purchasing false narratives, constantly going to have proof that never appeared. This was an organized failure to overthrough the existing government which they all committed crimes in doing this. This is one time the people shoud have gone after the whitch hunters!
I must express my deep concern regarding the conduct and behavior of Judge Engoron, who presides over cases in this part. Judge Engoron’s egregious treatment of litigants, attorneys, and his fellow jurists is nothing short of appalling. He consistently demonstrates a lack of respect, empathy, and fairness towards those who appear before him in the courtroom. Litigants often find themselves subjected to demeaning comments, dismissive attitudes, and unjust rulings from Judge Engoron. He routinely belittles and intimidates individuals who are seeking justice, creating an environment of fear and hostility rather than one of impartiality and due process. Attorneys who practice in front of Judge Engoron have faced unwarranted personal attacks, unprofessional behavior, and biased decisions that undermine the integrity of the legal system. His disrespectful treatment of legal professionals not only damages their reputation but also jeopardizes the fundamental principles of justice and equality under the law. [Redacted by Ed.] In conclusion, Judge Engoron’s conduct towards litigants, attorneys, other jurists, and anyone whom he disagrees with is simply unacceptable and reflects a clear pattern of unprofessionalism and bias. His behavior undermines the credibility of the judiciary and erodes public trust in the legal system. It is imperative that appropriate actions are taken to address these serious concerns and ensure that justice is served with integrity and respect for all individuals involved.
Pursuant to me last post, what Engoron knows about real estate wouldn't fill a thimble. I base this comment onhis valuation of Mar A Lago. If memory serves i think he said it was worth no more than $2.5MM. There are empty lots for sale in the area priced around $50MM. Art, you need to be better informed on real estate prices in tht area.
I am not an attorney, just a citizen that is appalled at the verdict handed down by this judge in the sham Trump trial. He has discredited the legal profession and integrity of the Manhattan Supreme Court. His bias was obvious before the trial started based on some of his inappropriate comments. I wish someone could explain to me, from a legal perspective, who was harmed, who was the victim? The loans were repaid, the banks were happy and surely would not have made the loans if there was any question about them being repaid. Letitia James and Arthur Engoran are both guilty of malfeasance and prosecutorial misconduct inmy view. I anticipate, of course, the verdict will be appealed. When it goes to the appelate court the verdict stayed until the appeals courts hands down a ruling. i expect it to be completely reversed. [redacted by Ed.]
