Hon. Barbara Hatfield was superb! I heard and read hundreds of horror stories about what happens to men in divorce court. That was NOT the case here. The judge heard the evidence from both sides. I watched her take notes throughout the 9 hours of court. In the end it worked out because lies were exposed, and truth prevailed. Neither party was left out to dry. I was the breadwinner so of course the money wasn't split down the middle. I understand that the other party needs to be able to rehabilitate themselves so I was ok with that. The custody was awarded 50/50. She gets 10 stars from me. Maybe that's because I was reasonable.

This woman ruined my life, she ruined my daughter’s life. She gave split custody to an Abuser. She went against the GAL recommendations completely & did what she wanted. A year long divorce, went to trial and sat in the courtroom and still never spoke or seen the woman the entire year. All deals made in her chamber between her and two corrupt money hungry attorneys. Soul-less. Anyone could see the injustice. All she had to do was look at any facts of the case, she didn’t care. She cost me a year of my life, 15k, a year of alimony after 20 years. He made 4 times the $ that I did. Gave him rights to claim child on his taxes every-other year& gave him 50/50 split custody. She showed exactly how sad n evil this world is. The people in higher positions that are meant to protect you & should care about the kids life’s and injustice DO NOT CARE. That man could have stabbed me in front of her and she would have probably snickered and gave him 10 days probation. She had more than enough proof that this man was an abuser & should not have so much say over this innocent child. I continue to suffer at his hands n constant punishment from him bc of her lack of conscience. My daughter will be affected for the rest of her life by her sorry, careless decisions & there is NOTHING that you can do. Who do you complain about a judge to? You can’t even request a different judge. You are stuck forever with this same judge. ????? So you stay stuck from fear while the abuser continues to hurt n sabotage you at any chance they can bc who can afford to spend another 14k knowing that the person making the decisions is the person who could care less about any facts the first time. I do not understand how she is still a judge. I do not understand whatsoever. I have heard so many things in person whispered regarding the things that she has done that are so similar to what she’s done to us. Does not deserve to have any say so over anyone’s lifes or future. Shame on Barbara Hatfield.

I must say I have never encountered such injustice than I have witnessed in this judges courtroom. She does not follow the law and completely can be bought and paid. The decisions I’ve witnessed by this judge will have your jaw on the floor. She serves out injustice so if you’re the bad guy or girl then she is your friend. But if you want justice then steer clear of this unethical judge.

[Redacted by Ed]after being present presented with evidence irrefutable evidence.. there is no justice when you are assigned Judge Barbara Hatfield and this of the family court system. My only hopes is someday. There is a creator and a higher power that will provide justice to all the lives that she has ruined at the very least at least at some point in time her eyes are open and she stops continuing to do it, because the only thing she does is leave a trail of destruction of families, and somehow convinces herself that she’s a good person . It’s a shame what damage someone can do with no remorse or change or even consideration, that may there’s a reason why so many people good people continue to say the same things about the same person in the same judge. You cannot find every judge in the courthouse. You only find specific judges, and that’s because it’s a problem they are a problem. They are wrong, and that should be proven enough that you can’t look up the other judges and find them on the site you can only find Judge Barbara Hatfield out of Canadian county and there’s a reason for that . I pray that justice will prevail and this judges eyes either be opened and she stop continuing to ruin peoples lives, or that should be removed from the bench that she’s so deserves. The families deserve the children’s lives that she ruins more than deserve justice . The family court system is a despicable operation and they should be ashamed.

Worst judge ever!! I've wasted so much money on attorneys. She refuses to look at evidence. My attorney sent out subpoenas for specific information related to the case, she wouldn't even look at it. My ex is a drug addict and she won't acknowledge that he has a problem. He's never been there at all for my 2 children. He's their biological father but has never been there. We have so much evidence against him and she refuses to look at it. She is the most biased judge and rewards the abuser and penalizes the victim. Who wants to join in on a law suit against her??? SHE does not need to be a judge!!

Should not sit on the bench. Condones abuse against women. Brutally illogical and unfair. Abusive.
