Are you kidding me?

Are you kidding me? This "judge" went to a house where a possible suspect for murder was being interrogated by the DA's office? This was reported in the Bend Bulletin. Apparently the suspect was a friend of hers. Flint should NOT be re-elected. She should have advised her friend to hire an attorney rather than appear herself. This is certainly inappropriate if not outright judicial impropriety. The chief judge had to arrange for an out-of-circuit judge to hear any matters related to this. Add this information to the comments below, and we see Flint is not deserving of a judgeship. She is not a scholar; she plays favorites; and now she is clearly attempting to influence a criminal investigation. Judges surely have better discretion than this.

Judge Flint appears to have no rhyme or reason in regard to her decisions.

Judge Flint appears to have no rhyme or reason in regard to her decisions. She has favorites in the courtroom and can be abusive to attorneys, parents, DHS caseworkers depending on her mood. It is frightening to witness her treatment of professionals and others in her courtroom.

Judge Flint does not appear able to grasp complex legal concepts, or else she does not put in the necessary time to understand those concepts. She does not have a grasp of the factual details of a case and thus misses how the law should apply to them. She needs to learn to carefully study and comprehend clear Oregon precedent, and she needs to make sure she understands the facts. Because of these shortcomings, she has been reversed by the higher Oregon courts quite a bit.
