Bruce G. Iwasaki

I am national counsel for a car manufacturer. Had a complicated two week jury trial with Judge Iwasaki. He was one of the best jurists I have ever been before. Extremely intelligent and his rulings are by the book. He is a credit to the bench.

Horrible judge and, with my limited exposure to him, horrible person. A few years after his totally unfair and uninsightful rulings, my child and I are still suffering emotionally and financially. He appeared to be in a "bad mood" that day and I guess his mood influences his decisions. Family court is not a place where justice is served on those who deserve it.

He is thoughtless, rude and seems to act purely on his own misguided instincts rather that the facts in front of him. Those he tends to actually ignore. He's just not a good jurist. He seems smart, but maybe he was too jaded to be elevated to the bench so late. He shows an utter lack of respect for the poor people who enter his courtroom. I will definetely 170.6 in future dealings. ANything would be better.

He should stop forcing kids to spend custody time with diddlers.

The Judge did not allow me to testify even though I flew from Kentucky to support my son in the litigation. I was present when the incident of the mantel fell due to improper installation(LA Inspector Phillip Brandenburg: 5/25/2021) and with violation of no permitting. The judge was not receipt to hearing the truth and was bias in favor of the opponents attorney, Ms. C. Moss, esq. He abused my wife by asking direct questions to her for Ms. C. Moss limiting her opportunity to deliver the facts of the case which limited our opportunity to present our case on behalf of our son. Poor judicial representation.

Unfortunately, this judge made rulings inconsistent with existing statues and case law. The Honorable Judge Iwasaki should lose his license to practice law and be removed from the bench. Irrational and brown nosing should disqualify him and the Presiding Judge of the Superior Court of Los Angeles, if they choose not to "ask him to leave", can demote him to the traffic division of Superior Court. The Superior Court hierachy consistantly allows incompetence and politically correct judges to sit on the bench. The Robing Room should send these comments to the Presiding Judge.

Judge Iwasaki has a poor judicial temperament. He loses his cool and become snotty and vindictive if you do not kiss his ass or do things his way. He always favors one side over the other. His rulings shows he is goal oriented. He is not fair but biased. I'd 170.6 him asap or you will regret it. PS. His clerk and courtroom bailiff are no better.

He is why people should be afraid for their lives. Vile vile vile. If you attempt readying any of the comments below only pay attention to the negative cause everyone is blocked from putting stars on the truth. The court or himself are putting 10 stars to show that he is decent which is far from the truth. I’m all for the Netflix series on this guy. Happy to help in any way as should the rest of you. Let’s get rolling. Can’t wait to give him a taste of his medicine after destroying so many lives unlawfully. So excited. Best part is that his lame supporters in the court system who know what he’s up to will be destroyed as well!!

I fully second that Iwasaki is a horrible judge. He was unlawfully personally appointed to my matter by Liarry Riff who had personal knowledge of my matter and who had recused himself (2 reasons Riff had no authority to re-assign the matter). When I did a declaration/motion to disqualify Iwasaki, Iwasaki had a strike order already prepped to ignore my motion. This dishonest website will censor anything else I say about the scum (which I mean in the British sense of the word).

I’ve seen numerous comments for all the people with genuine experiences against him get together. It would be the most high ranking Netflix series to come to your screens very soon and I promise I won’t stop there so reach out if you’re interested. What he deserves is coming to him and everyone that supports him. I have all the resources and people waiting to expose him from Hollywood to everywhere else. His time has come

It’s so deceitfully interesting how the only comments here that are allowed to be ranked by the private individuals are blocked yet he himself or the court put full stars on positive comments but we can’t rank the negative ones cause he’s blocked them. Tells you everything you need to know!

If you have any concern for your children's safety, immediately request your case be reassigned to a different judge. Judge Iwasaki systematically stripped away all safeguards I had in place to protect my kids from my ex's sexual abuse. He rejected the order for protection I obtained to protect my children against their father's sexual abuse. He refused to allow or consider the written report of my child's forensic interview which clearly described the sexual abuse. The judge refused to allow the mother of another victim who had been sexually abused by my ex to speak in court on my behalf. And there is more... This judge does not care about the safety of children. This judge is evil and he needs to never step foot in a courtroom again. God help those who are truly in an unsafe situation. You will get no justice or safety for your children. Please disbar this man. He is dangerous.

Judge Iwasaki runs a great courtroom. It was the first time I appeared before him and it was an ex parte application (that was granted). The judge even-keeled, scholarly and fair. But my review is more about the court staff than the judge. The Judicial Assistant and Courtroom Assistant are superb. They are the friendliest court staff I have ever come across at Stanley Mosk. They go out of their way to make counsel's life easy. They are unfailingly polite. They make you smile. I have a suggestion for the Senior Administrator at Stanley Mosk: have all your new hires train under these two. That would be a public service.

Praise be Goddess Themis (the one who rules the scale) for Judge Iwasaki. He saved my family. Most importantly-2 sweet, innocent little boys are now safe and happy and healthy and loved! He is good at his job.

Very smart, efficient, wise judge. Wish all judges in L.A. county were as smart and as quick to decipher what the truth is.

I do not understand all the comments on her regarding bias against women. I am a woman. He was completely fed up with my ex's negligence to my children and myself. He gave my ex a chance to settle before sentencing. My ex, is a sociopath, and Iwasaki saw right through him. He is fair, but when seeing my ex was arrogant, and didn't care about anyone but himself, he said so, and sentenced a just sentence. I will see him again, and update you on if his expertise is still the same. My Contempt hearing on my ex went about 99% as good as it could go. Woman on her stating absurd comments saying he does not care about children, are mistaken. He cared 100%.

This is the best judge in L.A. county. He's smart, quick to figure out what party is telling the truth, and expiditious in moving the hearings forward. I may see him again soon, and the Ex is harassing me now that we settled, brainwashing my children he hasn't seen in 20 years. Iwasaki is just judge. I can't say enough about him. Smart as a whip!

A very calm, level-headed judge who reviews the evidence and rules according. I appreciate his control in the courtroom and his ability to ask appropriate questions for clarification and made timely rulings.
