This judge does not care about what is in the best interest of children when ruling in cases of family law. He only cares about his own ego and he sounds completely uneducated in his rulings. He beats around the bush and his constant "ums" in his oration does not provide assurance that he makes sound decisions. To put it bluntly, he sounds like a buffoon. In my case he did not rule on any of the facts, but rather his own opinion, judging me unstable based on being a single parent; although, I have a good job, a nice home, my work schedule is consistent and matches my kids school schedule, my children are both top of their class and do well socially and in the community, he said I was unstable until a year ago when I got remarried. This is one of the reasons he ruled that I could not have full custody of our child anymore. He ruled to give me ex-husband full custody of our son, even though I have had full custody for the past 13 years of his life. My ex-husband and I separated when he was less than a year old and we have resided in different states since then. My son even testified that he does not want to move, but the judge did not care. My son's father never came out to visit or be part of his life unless it is there in Florida. My ex-husband even told my son this, that he would only support his life in Florida. We had a clarification hearing today on the verbiage of the visits and Judge Campbell will not allow me to visit my son any more than 7 extra days total, per year, while he is in Florida with his father. I asked why I cannot see him more because if we both lived in Idaho we would have 50/50. We do not have any circumstances of abuse or domestic that would prevent more custody. Idaho is a 50/50 state. I asked why I couldn't visit more. I said, I feel that one weekend a month is reasonable. He just shrugged his shoulders and said Ma'am I'm not going to argue with you. Is that truly in my son's best interest to move to another state during his high school yea

This guy only cares about tearing away black sons from their fathers. HES THE TOTAL CLICHE WHEN IT COMES TO DIVORCE (always in the woman’s favor) sad thing is my son is half mixed which according to the “one drop” rule makes him black. This obvious racist Republican didn’t even give me a fair say In who should primarily care for MY black child in a state where COLOR OBVIOUSLY MATTERS! I completely got the feeling that my voice was not only silenced multiple times when I tried speaking up for my rights as a father but was also disregarded as well. The only reason why this guy took the other parents side is because they are both white Republican Idahoans. His judgment WAS NOT In the best interests of my black child.
