We lawyers owe a debt of gratitude to Judge Landicino, because if his Rules were more efficient, it would reduce our billable hours. Thank you, Judge Landicino, for creating additional, unnecessary procedural hurdles beyond the CPLR, that increase our billable hours at our clients' expense.

Judge has preconcieved notions, doesn't understand applicable law, very pro-plaintiff, also seems to disregard female attorneys

A brilliant man who genuinely cares about making the right decisions and ensuring everyone is treated fairly.

I was impressed by Justice Landicino. He was well-prepared for oral argument of about 10 cases, including mine. He read the briefs and had questions ready. He listened and presented as fair and neutral. And even likable. It was evident that Justice Landicino wanted to carefully reach the right decision guided by the facts and law. I wish others on the bench adhered to this style.

Very good judge. Smart, quick, hard-working and thorough. Can maybe seem a little condescending at times, which maybe is what is setting some off, but he should be judged by his ability and results, which are both excellent. If every judge were like him, we'd be in good shape.

Following up on Comment NY12156 (2/8/2021), the matter discussed therein did settle, in large part thanks to Judge Landicino's persistence, ingenuity and fairness to both sides. He's a superb judge.
