I was not in trial with her, but have watched over several of her motions and courtroom proceedings as well as been in a MSC with her. She is patient, knowledgeable, and works to find resolution. I saw her work with a very difficult in pro per who should have been in contempt for refusing to pay an amount ordered to defense attorney. I would not have been this patient. In the settlement conference she was very straightforward and got the settlement done!

This judge always hears me last, it's my opinion ot get away with abuse. When I was first informed of her, I was hopeful and impressed; she seemed to listen to both sides; however, that doesn't apply ot me for some reason. It could be because the opposing party's lawyer used to be a pro temp judge and relied on connections rather than the law. My family has decided to take my case to the media. Again, I don't know why my rights and due process don't matter or why I'm treated differently. However, the individual who was incredibly lovely to those who were representing themselves was a man. Again, she appeared to be an excellent judge for others, just not for me (Baias) because of the opposing party's affiliation with the court. I don't play head games. I always give people at least three chances; she's had three. I would list all the abuses of discretion and chaotic dialogue, but that's something for a higher resource if it gets there. I just want justice, but it won't happen in this court, but I'm not giving up. I'm not sure what I did to deserve the injustice, but everyone has to answer to someone. The difference in treatment is so blatant; it's like, yes, I don't like you, and forget about following the rules for the opposing party (and bending) —interpretation of the rules for you is discretion, and discretion isn't your friend. I feel like she's trying to pressure me into giving in to the party. Not ot mention the San Diego clerk and inconsistent filing process is a hot mess. We now have clerks interpreting the law.

This Judge has an amazing temperament, is very prepared, and very smart. She treats both sides with respect and commands respect because of it. I wish we could clone her.

`This judge is the gold standard of what a Superior Court Judge should be: smart, hard-working, and fair. She demonstrates passion for the mission of the court and likes her job. As a former private-bar practitioner she understands the pressures and provocations to which lawyers in civil cases are subject. She would be my first pick in any case.
