This judicial officer, is a disgrace to family law and needs to be reassigned to maybe traffic or criminal law. Today, she made the most erroneous, incoherent, illogical ruling on a custody matter where a father has been deprived of seeing his daughter for over seven months. In giving deference to a lying, deceitful vindictive mother (admittedly refused to allow dad to even speak to their daughter) she put the ball again in this evil mother's hands to continue to deprive dad all because the Judge was raised by a single mother and has a "thing" for criminalist, single moms (was a public defender like Judge Powell, another horrific former family law judge.) I am at a loss. This judge says she has a jurisdiction to make orders, then makes orders. She is patheticly unversed in the law. She stated that she would be unable to enforce her orders. She would be unable to make orders. The court has inherent authority to do a lot but searched for any reason to have dad continue to be extricated from his daughter's life. It was shocking. It only cemented the concept for me that this family law is system is undeniably broken. And judges like this one do nothing but solidify that concept. I am considering partially appealing her compeltely "devoid" and unexplainable custody order, that she claims she was not even permitted to make. She is a joke and should not be allowed to make decisions about children's lives, ever again.
