Lazy and arrogant - once called a particular lawyer to ask them not to file too many debt cases 'in his court' Also transfers cases to other districts even when venue is not raised as a defense when he wants more time for golfing and non-judicial pursuits. He is just as worthless as the moron president who nominated him

A brilliant legal scholar and one of the most fair-minded judges to serve on the Federal bench. He is not in the prosecutor's pocket and he shows mercy whenever he can. He is not in the insurance company's pocket and is fair to all civil litigants.
