Dale A. Drozd

Beware any judicial officer who boasts of his sense of humor. It usually means he does not have a sense of humor. Judge Drozd is petulant and arbitrary, and (in my experience) unable to grasp complexity. He is also given to public statements regarding counsel and firms that all judges should avoid, but he appears completely oblivious to social and professional cues. I was present at the Eastern District conference the year he was elevated from magistrate to district judge. He threw a bit of a tantrum onstage for having been considered "new" when he had been a magistrate for so long. I don't mind confident judges when brilliance, mindfulness and purpose follow the confidence. But without those, it isn't "confidence" -- it's boorish and a sign of the bad legal scholarship to follow. A sub-mediocre legal mind.

It is clear that DAD here has to get on the program as is Judge Donato "reviews" in ND who is on the committee for professional conduct rules as to misconduct of attorneys -- when was the last time DAD issued sanctions against an atty... many of his orders as Magis were reversed listed in his doc in prep for Senate Hearing... this court needs a bigger budget for more staff and attorneys to carry the load, my letter to WADC Sen Judish.... asked of litigants to write on website seems improper.

`I thank those past commentators re: Fed Dist Crt of Eastn District esp DAD whose website improperly asks all private litigants to lobby the Senate Judish Comm for more Judges while however they abuse discretion esp with In Pro Se who can be former atty. This Crt has NOT been using mechanism it does have to stop the avalanche: Rule 11 sanctions against Attys aka Local 110. The veil was pulled on police brutality against blacks now the veil must be lifted testify our inside stories about misconduct in the legal prof because in fact it not begin with DJT Adm it comes from the bottom such as CA Bar Assoc failures with Gerardi matters.
