When I asked for my mother in law to be enjoined to the case, she was paying for his attorney while I had no attorney, Flores looked to opposing counsel, she gave a quick no nod, then he said, "motion denied." I applied for help from the SF BAR'S program. I was approved and waited a few months only to be told they couldn't place my case. Flores said we're only dealing with what exists now. Which was false claims by an abuser who had previously been to jail for waving knives at me. Flores believed everything written by my ex. He also seemed to be beholden to Ruben Law Firm who donated to his campaign and threw a fundraising party for Flores. He was a criminal defense attorney, why is he on family bench? Fun fact, he set the bail for Kate Steinel's killer before he hopped over to family court. He didn't put himself there, who else is corrupt, all or just most of them?

Very unfair judge and makes decisions based on his own stupid reasoning. Everyone drops his/her jaw about his unreasonable ruling except himself and the party he favors. This judge needs to be removed from the bench so he can’t cause more harm to children

Judge Flores routinely raises arguments that neither side raised (and which are, invariably, wrong on the law), and she often rules on a motions without having read the motion. This judge either lacks substantive knowledge of the law, or the intelligence necessary to sit as a judge. Either way, he shouldn't be hearing any cases other than those found in small claims or traffic court. Avoid at all costs.

From the bench Judge Daniel Flores, July 6, 2016 (case number-FDI-12-776987) stated that Mr. Barrager is “grooming his daughter” in order to molest her. In open court he called my son a child molester. He can read Mr. Barrager’s mind and he can see that Mr. Barrager will one day molest his little girl. There is NO evidence. As a result of his occult abilities, he has taken nearly all of Saam’s parental rights away. How is it even possible to punish someone for what one believes they are thinking? How does Flores come to this conclusion? How is it legal? What kind of a mind even conjures up such a disgusting concept? You are arrogant, he lectured Samuel L Barrager. You are creating problems. You refuse to keep the rules. Furthermore you are grooming your daughter to molest her. He then removed nearly all of Saam’s parental rights as a final order of the court. It was that day that it seemed the world held no regular expectation of law, natural or man made. The buildings seemed to slant. My knees trembled. I worried that gravity had ceased to exist and that it would not hold my footfalls in place. How can such a thing be said from the bench in a court of law? Surely this is illegal. Insane. On the Internet, 2014, Flores is seen in a photo with his little girl Sophia sitting on his lap. How do we know he does not have an erection as he smiles and looks toward the camera? How do we know he has not molested her? How does we know he doesn’t climb into bed with her at night whispering: ‘Don’t tell your mommy, Sophia.’ What kind of a mind would even conjure up such a disturbing thought? `Judge Flores is a snake, he checks every box Judicial misconduct list, his improper demeanor, failure to disqualify when the law requires, repeated failure to disclose ex parte receipt of information about a case outside the presence of one party, abuse of contempt or sanctions, delay in decision-making, etc. record is abhorrent.

Worst temperament of any Judge in the court, invents stuff up to adversely rule against the targeted party, makes orders on issues never before the court, violates his own orders, biased, racist, sexist and completely incompetent

He's a misogynistic judge and a non-believer of DV. He repeatedly over ruled a female attorney despite her clear requests. He loudly announced in court hearings that "he did not read our papers because he didn't have time." His professional conduct is also questionable. He makes poor decisions which result in harm ways in children and family. His tardiness is also an issue. He begins the hearing late. He asked for breaks and repeatedly returned 30-40 minutes later than he stated. He also rushed to wrap up the trial before the designated end time even though my attorney hadn't finished her cross examination. I wonder how he became a Family Court judge if he didn't care about the best interest of children.

Despicable Judge, cares a lot about money and power wants to go far with his 150 ranked Law School, will always side with the party with more money. Belligerent, mean, all over the place, hot headed, and incompetent.

I have watched this man make some inhuman judgements with total disregard for children. I have witnessed him giving custody to a clearly unstable man and grant a 5 year order of protection based on an angry statement from 5 years prior to the day and her ex husband had domestic violence and drug charges. He refuses to answer why when he randomly decides in the worst favor of children. I don’t believe he likes women. If this is the way court rooms are run today and no one is watching over the judges rulings, family court has become a place without justice. At least in The DisHonorable Judge Daniel Flores court room.

I have been in the SF court system for over a decade. This judge is the worst ever. He is lazy and biased. He doesn’t read the declarations and simply makes the ruling based on his own personal bias. He is impatient and doesn’t want to listen to the witness because he already made up his mind beforehand. Despite the lack of reasons that the child is in any harm way, he makes the ruling that destroys the child’s life. When asked, he said “this is in the court’s discretion and it is my ruling.” He also penalizes whoever asks him about his ruling. Very unfair judge and makes decisions based on his own stupid reasoning. Everyone drops his/her jaw about his unreasonable ruling except himself and the party he favors. This judge needs to be removed from the bench so he can’t cause more harm to children or anyone who suffers from DV. Don’t expect him to protect any one of us!

We just had a trial hearing for a RO and this judge refused to accept any credible evidence or hear anything that would ultimately discredit the other party. He seemed to have a decision before anything took place and overreached his judicial powers on his ruling. He should not be handling cases of domestic violence, let alone any family court matters. He is incompetent.

Please keep an eye out, and get ready to sign a Petition to Recall currently in the works. He should not be on the bench let alone in family law where he has wreaked absolute havoc. Does not follow the law because he does not know the law and simply makes it up as he goes, and has likely sanctioned parties improperly really affecting the integrity of the people's lives. We need you to sign the forthcoming Petition so that the system works and so that he can be removed from this position as swiftly as possible.

Racist, Sexist, Biased, Worst Judge at the San Francisco Family Court. CCP 170.6 ASAP

Worst Judge ever, tries to act smart, but has no idea what he is talking about. Biased, He should not be on the bench. Bad tempered. Decides who should win and then molds his rulings accordingly. You cannot rely on what he says during counsel discussions or pre-trial rulings. He either doesn’t remember what he said/ruled or intentionally sandbags you. Make a record each time and get a transcript. Anything he said that is not on the record will not be honored if he does not want it to be, and even if the record exists, he will change her mind even after you relied on what he said/ruled. 170.6 for the sake of your client and your own sanity.

Should not be allowed in family court. Does not recognize domestic violence.

There is no excuse for the kind of despicable hatred and sadism Judge Flores brings to the parties before him. He has not a speck of decency or respect. He has harmed countless persons, and throws his head as he leaves the courtroom, wiping his hands of the pain and suffering he has caused.

Horrible. Does not do any work, does not read papers, does not provide any legal analysis or reasoning for his decisions, completely disregards the law. Had a substantive motion in front of him and when I insisted he provide his reasoning he said 'court has a lot of discretion, that's my ruling.'

Do not under any circumstances, take this judge. He is mentally lazy, not very sharp, has no respect for your time, and does not prepare. He tries to skim motions from the bench because he hasn't read them and to do so, he only reads one side, not the other. Very poor judge who should not be on the bench

As a 10+ year civil litigator, I can tell you this is a bad judge.
