David B. Gelfound

I am currently in the midst of a civil bench trial before Judge Gelfound in the Chatsworth Courthouse. I have not received the ruling yet, so my opinions are based on how he has conducted the trial and the handling of this case. Put bluntly, I wish Judge Gelfound was in downtown because that is where the vast majority of my cases are venued. I say this because he is the consummate judge for a civil matter. He allowed me to fully cross-examine, kept the trial moving and was even handed in his rulings on objections, motions, etc. Unfortunately, he is in Chatsworth so you will not get many opportunities to have him be on your matter, but if you do, you will want to keep him as your judge.
