David Cohen

Just finished a trial before Judge David Cohen. He is in Supreme NY at 71 Thomas. All I have to say is that it was a pleasure trying the case before him. He is reasonable and very knowledgeable about evidentiary issues. I know a lot of judges who unnecessarily give attorneys a hard time. Judge Cohen is respectful and when he does let you have it, just take it because you probably deserve it. I didn’t mind the adverse rulings that much because his rationale is sound. I felt like we had a very fair trial. I believe my adversary feels the same. He is also instrumental in settlement talks. Be very happy if your case is assigned to him.
