To "Comment #: SC124": It seems some of the posts from other people really upset you. NEWSFLASH! People can post what they like! So kind of you to take the time to comment on other peoples comments instead of just providing your opinion of Judge Guyton. Your comment is a sterling example of the way Judge Guyton rules and why we all should pray for your children. Most people try not to make a habit of being called in front of a judge, doesn't seem to bother you though (especially when you receive the outcome you wanted, odd you didn't comment about your other experience with Judge Guyton). Be sure to let us know how it goes next time you're called in front of a judge, judging (no pun intended) from your writing that shouldn't be far off. All the best.

I think everyone should do more research. For themselves and not just base these reviews off of a negative outcome in court. I have personally had judge Guyton on two diff occasions. I understand why he was the way he was at both court hearings bc I now can put myself out of the pure emotion and think of it as a judge would. He is tough but he should be. He himself has his own child and an adopted child- has volunteered as an GAL and worked w dss- and served our country & our country’s service members as their attorney.I may not love the way one of my hearings went- but when given my time by his honor to speak- he took his time and an entire DAY to listen. He took it all in. Took recesses to most likely think some things over and fact check some statements made. He is an advocate and creator for drug court and his wife is a principal. They clearly love kids bc what he dealt w for our trial- I hope he got overtime. He gave everyone the opportunity to speak & show their colors. Some did not like the result, & he stayed after 5 just to make sure nothing was rushed. I commend him for his ability to listen. Since my trial I looked more into him & I understand now why he had to be so tough at first- he had to figure out what the heck was true false present past or twisted/ exaggerated. He has helped my children have a better life. He has helped me begin to have a much better life. Remember a judge only sees what is presented to them that day. To read comments pairing him up w certain lawyers ? Newsflash!There are not that many amazing top notch family lawyers around in any county let alone York co. So of course he will know the good ones that are always in court! If anyone could leave an upset review on how a hearing went w this judge (after it) - or an amazing one(at the next)it would be me. I am proof he doesn’t take sides bc I had NO lawyer. He allowed me to speak before being questioned- but emergency hearings fyi- you don’t get to speak. They are 15 min hea

extremely biased. IGNORES evidence. power hungry. has the most complaints in south carolina. and oddly when paired with Max Pickelsimer , the lawyer's winning cases is between 88%-90%. and that lawyer is friends with a crooked guardian ad litem, Bruce Poore on facebook. When a video was shown of abuse in front of the a child, completely ignored it. Good job York County, you guys are crooked

Extremely bias. Evidence does not matter. He makes decisions based on whether he likes you or not. He's rude and wields too much power. He should be removed from the bench!

Very strange set up and court environment. I was told Judge Guyton sticks by the rules and is strict which makes sense since he has a military background. God bless America and your service. What I don’t agree with is no one was allowed to speak on behalf of anything. I never even was allowed to speak about anything. He made a poor decision today and no feedback was provided on my behalf. I’m a bit disappointed in that being that this was the first time I was involved in a serious civil case. The decision was extremely biased and the county really needs to handle practices better.

Judge Guyton rules off hear-say from those he prefers Attacks grandparents without any evidence or proof Verbally and emotionally Abusive Failed to protect my 2 granddaughters We are filing a Civil lawsuit

The trial was over the minute he knew I was pro se. I believe he and Max Pickelsimer colluded to remove me from my EIGHT children's lives.
