This was the worst judge in will county history. He did not understand the law and made up rules as he went along to suit the attorneys he favorites such as Patricia Flynn. Mark Ellis he threatened people for nonsense when he should of been focusing on the law not who got him voted in. Lisa Lovelace worked on his campaign & earned over 8k and the next year pat Flynn and Parker Ross ipen a supervisor business for lisa Lovelace and testified for people in Garcia courtroom . They all benefited and guess that's why their is a federal filing with all them in it

Judge David Garcia completely devastated my life with his rulings. He labeled me as the ‘most non-credible witness’ and awarded everything to my ex-husband, who came into court with nothing and now pays no child support. I went through four different divorce attorneys trying to seek fairness, yet he favored my ex-husband’s attorney, Michelle, throughout the process. Since then, my life has been miserable as my ex-husband continues to remind me how the judge sided with him. My entire retirement savings have been wiped out because of these rulings, leaving me struggling to rebuild. I feel that justice was not served in my case.

Judge David Garcia is a disgrace to the judicial system. Totally unfair and biased! I have sat in his courtroom and witnessed his arrogant attitude not only to litigants but to their attorneys. Judge Garcia is extremely biased and always rules in favor of his "favorite attorney". He does not look at any evidence presented to him nor will he let the defendant or their attorney speak. He threatens contempt of court and jail time like he's giving away candy. This judge needs to be removed! Everyone should file a complaint with the Judicial Inquiry Board. Website: jib.illinois.gov

This guy does nothing. Nothing. He just makes attorneys make more money by delaying cases. He destroys families and if you self litigate he will figure out a way to demean you in court. He should be removed from family matters.

Judge Garcia has ruined my family in ways someone with this much power and someone who is supposed to do good and took an oath to protect human lives should never be able to do. He should never be able to make a decision about another humans life again. I have a 14 year old sister who is suffering due to his actions and he has never ONCE turned to ask what does she want. He is the judge in my parents divorce court. I truly believe that my mother and I would be taking today if it weren’t for this system. A system that is meant to protect kids and help families has torn mine apart. There are more involved than just him but I will do everything in my power to advocate for my sister and prevent this from ever happening to another family and another little girl. The change needs to happen now and it starts from him and I will make sure my voice is heard.

Does not have child’s ideals at heart, chooses parent with more money 95% of time. Must be looked at for awful placement on children.

Judge Garcia is a hack. He's trading on his last name. His incompetency in his work is obvious and documentated for all to see. One look at this bumkin will reveal he's in over his head. In a recent ruling, he ingored case law and was unable to identify relevant issues. A few simple Google searches will make an average person more knowledgeable than this goober. [Redacted by Ed.]

Very low / limited ability. Positive posts are attorneys attempting sway over him. Friend of some young kid who got a divorce in the area because his father, a once prominent attorney in the area knew him, likes to post positive things. Nonsense. They’ve done one another favors through their good ol’ boys network. To get into that network, this failing attorney had to do favors. The result? Poor practice, inability to resist bias, and very apparent injustice. Likes women in tight clothes.

Always available for pretrial and promotes settlement

He is a horrible judge. His rulings are one sided, seems to side with Latina women always. His pre trial suggestions are completely out of touch with reality. He needs to retire.

You are a despicable and disgrace to the justice system! There are laws in place to promote fairness to all....then there is you who feels he above the law and makes rulings to satisfy yourself or favorite attorneys. I hope you are praying God forgive you for all the people and families you have destroyed!

This judge is a total disaster. Everyone knows it. This judge fails to arrive on time. This judge fails to read case details. This judge fails to look at the results of investigations he tells you to wait for. This judge bars the results of authentic investigations by the police and dcfs which tells you he is not interested in the truth. Maybe he will want to go work for a local firm (many others have after leaving the bench...see his predecessors). This judge is incredibly if not intentionally gullible and grossly incompetent at best. I sincerely hope for the sake of children, all cases he has been involved with are reviewed. My belief is he has been an arm of corruption in this county to scratch the back of a firm he wants to work for in the end.

This is the most hard working judge. First in the courthouse everyday. He reads all the motions before the court even begins. He just listens to se if there are new facts not put into the motions he already heard, He is fair unless you are peddling bullshit then he will come down on you. No nonsense. As to anyone who gave money to his campaign, he doesn't know who gave what. He was elected because so many attorneys liked how he handled his call. There is a crazy woman who lost any contact with her kids because she acts crazy. She is writing all these untruthful comments. Beware.

~ Don’t feel helpless - file ardc (if applicable) on attorney , file judicial misconduct on attorney (if applicable ) and file suit on judge and GAL. Most litigants are unaware this can be done. Look up cases at appellate court and do not worry if you win or lose as everything has the ability to be appealed and most likely won at the appellate level. Calling dcfs, contacting neighbors, illegal seizures of bank accounts , etc. are all the tactics utilized by these illegal attorneys in Joliet whom are also part of the organized crime ring . Make your voice loud to the right groups outside the courtroom.

Biased; favors women, especially Latinas. Does absolutely nothing - sits and listens to attorneys, giving no chance to defend when OC makes accusations. Goes against his own, previous rulings. Had to hire an appeals attorney because the rulings he threatened to make in pre-trial meetings were flat out illegal. All has to happen in open court, with recorded objections so when the appeal happens, its all there. He does not review evidence. Just chews his pen and stares off in space. In the mean time, we are 50K into lawyers fees. And OC? She knows how he he is, and is using every bit of that information to lie, cheat, and steal. Horrible woman. But,we are not standing down. I'll work two jobs to expose this SOB if I have to - how he became a judge is beyond me.
