Horrendous judge to bring any civil rights case to , likely the worst in the Orange County Superior Court system.

Horrendous judge to bring any civil rights case to , likely the worst in the Orange County Superior Court system. I brought a case suing police for false arrests where I was found innocent with no criminal trials needed. Newport Beach Police showed discriminatory remarks in their police reports , and disproportionate police force to pursue ridiculous misdemeanor allegations. Servino allowed police to dismiss the case on demur. She said police in California can maliciously prosecute citizens if they like and they have immunity to do so. Absurd!

Only experience is in pre-trial appearances, but that is always a great indicator.

Only experience is in pre-trial appearances, but that is always a great indicator. This judge is pleasant, speedy, efficient and above all else prepared. She is often 2 steps ahead of the lawyers. Is totally courteous.

This judge, in the case I was handling, made an obvious error in statutory application.

This judge, in the case I was handling, made an obvious error in statutory application. Most judges would have conceded the error and revised the tentative. This judge either didn't understand or didn't care that she was making the wrong decision. Not typical of Orange County judges, most of which are at the top of their game. This one needs to beck to private practice.

She is a very cerebral and even-handed judges, with well thought out pre-trial decisions and decisive case management abilities. I read some of the bad reviews, but I did not find her to fit within those categories.
