This Judge is breath of fresh air in a polluted environment known as our court system. I was illegally prosecuted at the Woburn District Court with an attempt by a municipality to extort over $20,000.00 in fines. This judge assembled a jury and allowed me to defend myself against these false charges. The trial lasted 2 days ending with a unanimous decision in my favor. Having been maliciously prosecuted and abused by the court system for years, she was a a savior for finally bringing some decency to the courts, at least in this case. Thank you Judge Shopteese

Extremely fair, listens and understands very well. Allows all evidence and would never manipulate the outcome of a trial. A special person or a breath of fresh air in a smoke filled slaughter house called the court system. We need more like her. As a victim of abuse by the courts and having been before 20 + judges she is by far the best.
