I've had two arguments with her as the PJ recently. She is an impressive judge. Prepared, knowledgeable, smart, even-keeled, she actually seems to care about the cases that come before her...even the boring ones (like mine). I really like her, wish we had more like her at the trial level.

Having practiced in front of Judge Dianne Renwick many times before, I was immediately struck by her total lack of respect for the law, constitutional rights, human rights, civil procedure, and basic human decency. She is a ruthless, cruel judge who knows little to nothing about the law, rather she seems to be more concerned with pleasing her masters and supervising judges, all of whom are mainly interested in money, power, status, revenge, and crushing dissent. She is a perfect choice for the new courts post Obama and post Trump, in that she rules in favor of Oligarchs, whether left or right. She serves the extremist Oligarchs, and not the People. If you get her as a Judge, expect her to rule in the favor of the wealthiest, most powerful, most expedient party, and not the party with the law on their side. This behavior is fairly typical of the other Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (“DEI”) judges that I have also seen in my last 30 years of practicing law. It is clear that she is very ambitious and wants to ascend to the federal district courts in New York, so she is very careful to butter the correct sides of the bread in advance and in preparation for their support.

This jurist being appointed the presiding justice for the Appellate Division, First Department is nothing short of sickening. We appeared before her numerous times and on each occasion she was as nasty and angry as could be. She has the demeanor of a wounded animal (sounds harsh I know, but true) and some would say "she's like this with everyone", but that is of no solace, nor does it make her behavior acceptable. Just watch her now that she has an even bigger platform to spew her venom.
