Not sure how this magistrate continues to be on the bench. She shows up late, rushes through a hearing and doesn't allow all evidence to be presented in deference to HER schedule. Finally, when ruling on a case where there is possible child abuse of very young children, she does not take into account witness testimony and throws it out as hearsay. How does a two year old advocate for themselves? I've lost all confidence in the justice system due to this one person.

Magistrate Christensen, could not have gotten it more wrong! She oversaw a simple civil hearing, ignored all evidence given to her and handed eight horses and four dogs into the hands of a confessed and documented animal abuser. A wife petitioned for residency when she was the defendant in a criminal case, with a protection order protecting her husband, and a long history of domestic violence. Magistrate Christensen handed eight horses for dogs a cat into the custody of the abuser, further traumatizing The victim, who was the husband. The wife has multiple criminal charges against her and has been arrested due to her own actions multiple times. Magistrate Christensen was rude and condescending to the husband, victimizing him further. In the 35 years that this couple was married to the wife took pleasure in intimidating, chasing, and brutalizing the husband. Magistrate Christianson could not have gotten it more wrong!

She's abusive and biased. She does things like cue opposing counsel to object by making direct eye contact with them. She is biased against pro se litigants, attorneys from out of town, and anyone who can prove her incorrect on a ruling.

This Magistrate rules with her emotions clearly I have not been in front of her that have spoken to too many people who have had cases with her that their families have been completely broken and ruined because she is biased rules with her emotions and shouldn't be in charge of people's futures. I have spoke to people who work in the family court at Larimer County who I quote have said she should not be in charge of other people's futures. She should be held accountable for ruining Pro Se clients lives and their children's as well.
