Doesn’t read papers or prepare. Bristles at doing any actual judicial work. This can work out great for you if you happen to land on the side he picks, but it’s like spinning a bottle. There are many similar comments below and I would disqualify this judge if he were assigned again. Frankly the committee on judicial performance should remove him due to incompetence and utter sloth.

Considering the length of our case, motions filed, the defendant being uncooperative in filing documents in a timely manner, not following the Judge's previous orders and the defendants inappropriate behavior in court, he is a Saint for just handling our case alone. He has a tough job, it takes a certain person with patience to do his job. Do I agree with everything he says absolutely not. In my case if anything he has been very lax with the defendant and has given way to many chances to correct the behavior in my opinion. At the end of the day Judge Franchi is alright in book.

This judge thinks he is a God, and can decide someone’s destiny without considering law. He is lazy and often unprepared , ingnores the evidence and makes decisions based on his personal opinions and frankly , it’s like a lottery with him. My lawyers can’t predict anything that might come out from him.I can go on and on, about how incompetent he is. Just Awful .

Judge Franchi thinks he's the smartest man in the room. He very clearly hates women, routinely lets fathers speak non stop and cuts mothers off after a few words. He has no idea what transitional kindergarten is. Today, I watched deny the mother's request that non working dad pick up minor child from school so that mom can work, and instead, is ordering mom to take PTO and drive the minor child to whatever place non working father wanted -- which happened to be the Northern Police station in the middle of the tenderloin! Dangerous place for a child. What in the world is wrong with him? How is that in the best interest of this little girl. I watched this judge and am disgusted.

absolute worst, his wife is friends with a lot of lawyers and they will pre decide your case based on his wife narrative's. judge admitted in court that he knew opposing counsel, he ignores direct evidence of abuse and enables abusers. he will also silence your children from speaking even if above age 14.

His courtroom is a lawless abyss, where truth and justice are dismissed concepts to him. Judge Franchi brazenly defies judicial cannons and laws, considering his own agenda. His heartless indifference towards victims of domestic violence and negligence towards innocent children reveal a level of depravity attributed only to a soulless criminal. I'm not sure if he is a sociopath or simply corrupt. Bias is his trademark, rendering impartiality an illusion. Judge Don R. Franchi is a danger to society and justice, demanding immediate disbarment and investigation. His name should serve as a warning against unscrupulous individuals in power. He must be held accountable for his trail of destruction and permanently barred from authority. I firmly believe he should wear an orange suit instead of a black cloak.

This judge kidnapped Rhonda Reyna's daughter on June 29, 2021. Mom hasn't seen daughter in almost 2 years already. SB 43 is giving him more privileges to destroy innocent families.
