I can't believe this judge is still in office. I spent days watching trials and she seemed to be the most perplexing. A man in a fight at a restaurant who seriously injured someone was allowed to take up hours of the court's time and received no time at all in jail while a teenager who was up for reduction in sentence due to being in prison for 30 years for something he did while 15 did not warrant more than 3 minutes of her time. I checked and she hasn't had any successful JRA cases where she decreased the teen's sentence. This law is to give these teens a chance at a life after being in prison for decades for something done as a teenager. Does she have NO HEART at all. Not even willing to listen before throwing down her gavel and yelling DENIED. I'm sure she is doing everything that Covington asks her to do. She does not deserve to be a judge and she should be DENIED her reelection. Please do not vote for her to stay in.

After waiting an extremely long time, the judge came in, listened for 5 minutes and then denied. This judge was unprofessional and I was very disappointed at the lack of time and thought put into the decision. She clearly came in unprepared.

I am a full believer in the court system but this judge does not listen, did not review the facts, and did not follow the law. The higher court actually told her to review the decision again and review all the areas before a decision-she completely ignored that and just denied. We all deserve a fair trial with a judge that will listen before making a decision. This judge is UNFIT to serve as a judge in this great nations court system.

This judge does not care about the law or the defendants. She does not take the time to actually review a case before court. She is curt to the point of rude. I have seen her in court start a case and within 1 minute slam down her gavel and say “denied” with no reason whatsoever. When asked by the defense attorney if she would put it in writing she stated “yes” then 8 months later submitted a document that also states “the defendant’s motion is denied” with no reasoning. She should be replaced with a judge who is more professional and caring.
