I was on a phone call with Judge Donita Sena today, in which I was treated very rude. Someone kept speaking while she was talking to me, I said I couldn't hear what she said and she yelled at me. She said that I need a better phone and started to assault my character because I can't afford a smart phone. I was on a house phone and am on a fixed income, the cellphone is not a priority over survival to me. She then asked what I want to plee even though there was a lot of noise, I said no contest, to have a chance to explain. She then said ok turn yourself in upfront for 5 days in jail. I was appalled by this as I am not even guilty and felt it would be better to just explain that I didn't brake check because I was cut-off, I had no intention of causing any other car to stop or be damaged only intended to avoid an accident. I was then told to go get a defender and to look it up on my smartphone. I felt very humiliated by this, and I feel it was a direct attack on me for being on fixed income. Aside from me living 58 miles away telling me to go is not something I can do very easy. I am disabled and only have the one source of income.
