Every day, I wish we had this judge back in my courtroom. We’ve had two judges since and both have ignored the abuse she acknowledged; the only time I felt like myself and my child were safe was when we had her presiding over our case. She really is the gold standard.

I spent a significant amount of time in her court room for an exparte case from 8/2018-12/2018. Judge McLaughlin saved my daughters life, and saved her from an abusive parent when other judges for 4 years didn't. She was extremely fair to the child, and even both parties in the case. In all of her cases I watched in her court room before mine was heard each time she was extremely logical, kind and kept the best interest of the child in mind at all times. She has a way of being a "no-nonsense" judge while being empathetic and professional at the same time. This is the judge Riverside County Family Law needed to restore faith in the Family Court System. She is childs best interest oriented, and doesn't seem to favor one party over another.
