Defendant failed to answer post-judgment discovery requests, and all good faith efforts were made [ie. letters and phone calls to Defendant regarding overdue/lack of discovery responses]. I made sure that all applicable MD Civil Rules of Procedure were followed to a tee [I've been a litigation paralegal for over 30 years, I know what I'm doing]. Due to Defendant's lack of responsiveness to the discovery requests and all good faith efforts to obtain the discovery responses, I had to file a Motion to Compel. Judge Jackson denied the Motion to Compel, for no good reason other than he felt like it; there was no reason to deny the motion and every reason to grant it. The discovery requests have never been responded to, and the judgment is still outstanding.
