`Judge Dow is the worst judge EVER!!! She is definitely not about the best interest of the children that’s for sure. I truly think she is getting paid off by some lawyers. My ex was a total scum. My kids begged not to have to see him or his wife again. They were horrible to my kids. She believed everything his lawyer said and not the truth!!! My kids went through hell for 5 years until the police had to get involved. They found out what was really going on. They saved my kids. Will County wake up!!! GET RID OF HER

This is an evil pathetic human. The people that allow her to be a judge should be ashamed. She only has a job because her husband is a judge. So many attorneys despise her. She destroys the lives of parents and their children. Her judgement day is coming as she will spend eternity in hell.

This Judge, Did Complete Injustice in my case. The case had started with OP being approved. Before she took over the case she took all restrictions off. She Did not follow protocol, entering new attorney for opposing counsel, appointed a GAL. The Gal never investigated my side and just believed the other party, not even looking at physical proof of Domestic abuse by my ex spouse, she fabricated all her notes, when she realized court trial was coming up. Didnt have anything reviewed or verified on my side. Judge just trusted the GAL without asking for notes of my side. She had humiliated and even had said prior to trial. That she was going to Remove my children custody from me. Threatened to tell other judges that i was a garbage of a mother. Never gave me a chance to tell my story. She took me out of the Marital Home, not allowing me to take ANYTHING. I pray someone looks into her work. For the safety of children involved.

Couldn’t even speak without her yelling and saying she never wants me in her court again. I hope not. Will request another judge. So rude and childish. She’s nice to people with lawyers. She believed everything my ex said and shut me down if I tried to produce the facts. Piece of garbage.

I’m so glad that I could leave a review as I’ve been talking about Judge Dow with my family and friends for the last 2 weeks. I love her and found her to be extremely professional and no nonsense. Definitely not the Judge to try and get over on, you will absolutely be told off quick.

This judge requires therapeutic counseling due to her inability to act as a professional and her demonstration of immaturity such as growling and gritting her teeth while speaking to people, showing a drunkenness of power because she makes decisions over people lives and her enjoyment of belittling people in public to make herself look good. I’m not sure what happened to her in the teenage years but she definitely suffered from not being asked to prom. It would do Will County a favor to have her removed so she can take time and pursue another career that suits her better, such as a pole dancer where she can receive all of the emotional attention that she requires. She demonstrates signs and symptoms of bipolar personality disease and needs to be looked at by the higher ups. You have no chance if she hasn’t had a chance to get her hair done or if her make up doesn’t look right, it’s hell for all that becomes before her. As unattractive as she is, she still wants to be seen as something that she is not… good luck!

OMG I thought it was just me! I read so many comments that related to my case exactly. Judge Dow is the reason why I have given up on the court system. She's the type of person that would lock up a innocent person in a heartbeat. I am in disbelief as to how my Disneyland dad of my twins who only had weekend visits, has managed to get custody of my twins, and now I'm paying him child support!!! Without any negligence found against me AT ALL! I am pro-se, he had 2 attorneys. During court, I was not allowed to speak, present my proof of the father's lies, called a bad mother, yelled at, accused of giving up on one of my twins, disregarded, disrespected and ignored. I was brought to tears every single time, and had to miss a few court dates in between, due to my mental sanity. The reason why my kids were taken from me; 1 twin said I was being too strict because I would take away his phone privileges when he would get into trouble. The 2nd twin was thriving, doing well, on the honor roll, an 8-yr established football player in his area, and was forced to move almost an hour away with his father. Judge Dow has managed to destroy my kid's well-being, dreams, and have them taken from me, without any investigation done on me or their father. That judge didn't give a damn about me, my kids future or their best interests. I did everything for my children, at every game, school activity and parent teacher conference, father rarely seen. My children was taken from me FOR NO REASON AT WAS ALL! I'm all for signing a petition to have Judge Dow removed IMMEDIATELY!

Judge Dow is the worst Judge who needs to evaluated for her own ability to judicially make sound decisions without her own invocation of self control. She is rude, yells and has tantrums in the bench not allowing her to utilize the facts of the case. She would let a convicted felon get off because she biased and cares more about the ABUSER than the one being abused. She is known to continue cases with no movement for months and make them worse off than when they started. She vacated a current Order of Protection and allowed a Father to have visitation with his kids who has a record of Abuse, record of Violation of the current OP in place and files false reports to DCFS. Not a sound Lawyer agreed with why you would do this but the Lawyers are scared of her too. Again, this Judge needs to evaluated for her ability to DO HER JOB and other attention to the facts vs her feelings.

Very good judge, I practiced in front of her doing order of protections and parentage cases about 5 years ago (might have that timeframe wrong) was my favorite draw between the two rooms.
