I must admit that after reading so many negative reviews about Judge Christian, I was very concerned about him ruling on my friend's son case. This past Friday the man as described in many negative reviews is not the same man I met on Friday. Given the fact that my friend's son has an VERY INCOMPETENT attorney Judge Christian was more than fair he exemplified the concern and compassion of one who recognized that this young man did not deserve to go to prison. His father, mother, friends and myself wrote character letters for the defendant. Judge Christian was really baffled by the man we spoke so highly of and the man standing here for sentencing who the prosecution falsely presented as menace to society. He gave us all a chance to speak in a sentencing hearing. Unfortunately because PAID attorney was so negligent he recommended that the defendant take a plea deal and go to trial. It was horrible and I believe Judge Christian recognized the lack of skillfulness of this poor excuse of an attorney. Judge Christian felt very justified in giving the defendant the minimum maximum of 12 months as the prosecutor asked for 48 months. I cannot speak about the reviews of Judge Christian but he is very strict and in this case genuinely represented what I consider to be the epitome of what a fair justice system looks like given the factors beyond its control.

J. Christian rules with ego without regard for the welfare of the litigants or the residents of the District if Columbia. His decisions are based upon the rules of his own making; he has never published so much as a comic book; he is quick to rule because he doesn't care; he has a cast of cronies to do his bidding; his temperment is horrible and his treatment of the vulnerable reflects his inner demons; he should not be a lawyer let alone a judge. The worst of the worst. Truly an evil person.
