quiet arrogant, who once called me about not informing him fast enough that a case settled. Definitely apppointed for minority appeal and nothing else. Certainly not legal ability. He should stop asking his staff to post phony reviews here like so many other judges do.
Always late for court. Appears like his punishment will be severe, at the end issues very low sentences. Likes to talk a lot of blah, blah, blah, extending the hearings for long periods of time.
An outstanding judge. Very smart and he tries to do the right thing in every case. He is very funny too, a pleasure to appear before.
What a judge should be. Smart and fair. Has a temper which he loses very rarely, but you don't want to be on the other end when he does. But he is fair on who he gets angry with. I have seen him filet a prosecutor he was angry with. But overall he is smart and fair and well-respected.
Good judge. Not afraid to call them as he sees them. Fair and balanced.
