Solid judge, solid temperament, and reasonably good scholarship, but slow to decide civil motions. His impending retirement is a loss to the bench in Supreme Nassau and the more recent appointees and elected judges have been extremely weak. Nassau continues to suffer a decline in quality by retirements while the replacements are disappointing.
