Fidel E. Gomez

Appeared before Judge Gomez recently for a compliance conference. While waiting for my case to be called, I observed Judge Gomez handle an extremely difficult pro-se plaintiff who was was the defendant in an eviction proceeding. This was my first observation of Gomez and I was extremely impressed with his patience and careful consideration of the facts and law. Incredibly professional and respectful of parties and counsel. A breath of fresh air. Hoping my case remains assigned to him for any dispositive motions.

Appeared before him and was last on the calendar, so I was able to watch his entire calendar. What a treat. He obviously read all of his cases, listened to arguments and most importantly was fair and obviously knows the law. treated everyone decently - including a pro se litigant. A real jurist.
