Gershwin A. Drain

If all judges were like Judge Drain, I would not have so many sleepless nights or have to take antacids. He makes the practice of law feel like the "learned profession" it is supposed to be, but has been diminished in recent years in so many ways.

Judge Drain is an absolute gentlemen both on the bench and off. He engages in colloquy during oral argument and asks thoughtful, material questions. His opinions are well thought out and supported.

Recent appointee who so far has shown he is bright, courteous and even-handed.

A true gentleman. The kind of judge who is not interested in belittling attorneys for sport, but in making the right ruling.
