In my opinion, this judge appeared biased, arbitrary, and unprofessional during the proceedings. Many of the rulings and comments seemed driven more by personal opinion than by an objective evaluation of the evidence and applicable research or legal standards. The overall experience raised serious concerns about fairness, neutrality, and judicial temperament.

Judge Bodley comes across as rude, arrogant, and dismissive toward the people in her courtroom. In my experience, she berates individuals instead of treating them with fairness and respect. As a civil servant entrusted with protecting children’s best interests, her decisions are deeply concerning. I believe she failed to protect two young girls by leaving them in the care of an abusive mother and a household environment that raised serious red flags, including forcing a child with no medical condition to wear diapers until age 12. Her rulings appear to favor harmful individuals rather than prioritize the safety and well-being of children.

Terrible judge. Took a very young child away from a perfectly good mother with no history of violence or drugs and gave it to the father with a DVRO, just because he's a citizen and the mother is not (legal resident). Prohibits the mother from speaking her native tongue with her own child (also born in the same country of the mother), perpetrating cultural violence and stopping the kid of its identity. Take YEARS to assign spousal or child support and does not grant a level playing field. Have never witnessed anything like it. It's shameful!

Awful judge with a bias against black women. Which is surprising as she is a woman of color. Watched her disregard all the female defendants or victims and gave all her attention to male citizens in her court. She ruled against a woman who was a victim of DV and gave full custody to the assailant. Stripped the woman of all physical and legal custody without ever confirming the fathers occupation, place of residence, or addressing his long criminal history of violence. Seeing that judge deny every piece of evidence from the lady and not consider any of her facts, was hard to watch. It was heartbreaking to witness this child being ripped from their mother like that. I thought the point of these cases was to keep the child in the safest environment where they do well.

She was very fair and truly listened to both sides. Defendant was given a lot of latitude - I think this was to ensure a fair trial for both sides. She listened intently to each witness testimony and judged fairly on all points that came up during trial. She is strict and all business. She only wants to hear facts and nothing else so come prepared. As per another comment - I am white - and felt she judged fairly.
