The lack of empathy this judge had towards me (the victim/petitioner) in my case against my neighbor’s SEXUAL HARASSMENT was baffling. She called me an adult child just because my first response to my neighbor exposing his genitals to me was sarcasm. I was shocked and angry that’s why I was sarcastic for at most 10 seconds. For most of that situation, I was trapped in my car and terrified! But she said she did not believe that I was actually afraid. That it was like a college student dispute. WHAT college has she been to that men take out their penis like nothing? DISGUSTING! She treated it like it was two neighbors arguing and called it “normal”? It is NOT normal for a man to expose his genitals to a woman minding her own business. And mind you this has happened before when I was 17 years old. And he admitted to it in court! She granted a 4 year injunction, but is allowing him to go back home. Right next to me. I will be as cautious as I can to protect myself, but God forbid anything worse happens. I wonder if Judge Laurent would be able to sleep at night. Horrible.
