Pray that Judge Gregory H. Lewis of the Orange County Superior Court, be removed from the bench for willful judicial misconduct; abuse of power-through malice, oppression and fraud; use of his office to benefit a friend; and failure to recuse and disqualify himself from presiding over a case where he had a conflict of interest. The lame and willfully prejudicial conduct by Judge Lewis bring disrepute on the judiciary of Orange County. It is a sad day when an esteemed man willfully soils himself to benefit crooks and scoundrels, regardless of past loyalties, power, or possessions. Lewis was overturned in my case, by the Court of Appeal. Their e rebuke what is equivalent to a judicial spanking: they granted the JNOV, and denied his conditional motion, granting a new trial. NB thankfully, Judge Lewis has retired. He was sanctioned by the Commission on Judicial Performance for his conduct.
