Fathers beware! In the court room of Judge James B Munford of The Family Law Court in Tarrant County, you will not find justice there. The judge is extremely prejudiced against fathers. His candor about it is so astonishing, that it is enough to unsettle your own lawyer! The idea that you have been a good father or co-parenting is stupefyingly insignificant to this judge and any attempt to challenge the status quo of the very basic possession that is consistently yoked unto fathers is viewed with incredulity by the judge. According to his maxim, the possession schedule issued by the Court is supreme. Ironically, the generally exalted family court mantra of making decisions of “what is best for the kids” or “in the best interest of the kids” means absolutely nothing to this judge.

He is flat out racist. A judge is supposed to be impartial and fair, so how come he makes his mind up about people the second they walk into his court room. He thinks he is above everyone, including the law. He likes to belittle people and feel like he’s the king of the castle. Likes to make people feel dumb for literally no reason but to get a high out of it. Literally on a power trip, someone needs to humble that old fart. Dude needs to seriously retire and learn to talk to people with respect.

I have prior experience working in a courtroom and I was not before this judge for an emotional case, but rather for a simple name change post-divorce. He was intentionally rude, abrasive, intimidating, bullish, high on power, and a downright jerk. The other people in the courtroom even gasped at his rudeness. He should not be a family judge and although I usually vote republican, I would not vote for him. What happened to true professional gentleman like Tom Vandergriff?

This isn't a judge. [Redacted by Ed.] This man has no regard for his position, the families he serves, and is a poor exscuse for a human being. He abuses his position, and when he's caught red handed, he modifies the record and manipulates the docket with his court staff and District Clerk. He [Redacted by Ed.] can be a judge is a terrible thought. He needs to go back to lawschool, because he has no clue what Texas Law requires of him. Pathetic.

I respectfully believe that the facts and evidence presented in my case were not fully applied to the ruling. Important documentation and testimony that I submitted appear not to have been considered in the decision, and I am concerned that this may have impacted the outcome.

Munford is the worst excuse for a judge. He's temperamental, doesn't follow his own rules, and portends to follow the law. He is discriminatory and biased making his rulings completely unfair and without merit. He only selectively listens and ignores evidence that is shown to be contrary to his preconceptions. Nobody gets a fair trial with him, especially men. He's an ass.

Terrible judge who doesn't even follow the law. When errors are pointed out, he outright refuses to correct them, even when both opposing councils agree that his errors need to be fixed. He's unfair, temperamental like an old dog, and forms preconceived biases affecting his ability to render fair honest judgements. He should be impeached.

James is misogynistic 1000%. & it’s sad because you’d think in his position he’d want to offer hope and guidance in an already difficult time whereas his pompous and arrogant attitude is disgustingly and makes him a vile individual. Imagine talking and seeking clarity and he dismissing you and demandeding you leave his courtroom or he’ll hold you in contempt. Imagine advocating for us little people to vote for you and you get on the bench and consistently bullshit and waste tax payer dollars and hard working people’s time. Imagine “thank you have a good day.” Being your way to spit and slap an individual in the face. This man is horrible and ill advocate if he runs for a next term to not vote for this horrible non God like individual. How he sleeps at night knowing he ruins and wastes time affecting innocent children is beyond me. Imagine being so arrogant your viewpoint and OPINION despite facts trump actuality. DIABOLICAL. Judge James Mumford is not pro woman. I am a woman mother and I am tired to fight. today was the last court and this judge ignored me didnt listen to me and he didnt let me talk He does not even know what I was asking he ignored me and guess what he made a decision pro my ex husband without wisdom and knowledge. and now I am facing the fact of the family court does not care about children and families Lets start a petition to remove all those people.
