This judge either likes you or he doesn't...and he doesn't like me. I can't figure out why. But when I was handling a multiple defendant medical malpractice case, with five defense firms representing the various doctors and facilities, It felt as if there were six defense attorneys in the room at every hearing. He actually said at one point, "this is what you get when you name so many defendants," because I moved to compel the depositions of defense witnesses after over 12 canceled depositions and dozens of ignored emails requesting dates for same. (I provided all my witnesses the first time requested). His ridiculous answer was, "you need to learn to work these things out," TO ME. In other words, he thought it was MY fault that I filed a motion because defendants were not complying with simple discovery rules.
