Terrible judge. At least in civil litigation. Appears biased almost from the get go. Arrogant would be the word I would use to describe him. He got major facts wrong in his rulings and appears to pick winners and losers based on his feelings, and not the facts. If anyone gets this judge assigned to their case I would consider bumping him from your case.

I rate this judge a 2. His temperament in court is arrogant, condescending, and rude. My lawyer told me going in, that he’s an “asshole” judge so I kinda knew what I was getting into. His rulings are dripping with rudeness and unprofessionalism. He got multiple “facts” wrong in his rulings. Since my case was decided, I’ve heard from many people having the same issues with this man. I hope more people and lawyers find this site to shine lights on bad judges in ND. Thanks
