Again, judicial misconduct. Threatened the plaintiff, knew the defendant and did not recluse herself, very biased (and we won, but would never want to come up before again). Obviously wanted to just leave. Should not be on the bench.

Judge Hong is extremely fair. She is patient and kind to all parties. She should be viewed as a model for all judges.

Judge Hong engaged in judicial misconduct. Among other things she made a ruling without ensuring that all parties were present and in fact, the primary party was missing. She was anxious to leave and did not actually want to hear the case. Furthermore, she was biased against the plaintiff and demonstrated that repeatedly. It is on the record.

Judge Hong is incredibly knowledgeable and fair! She knows the law and always delivers impartial rulings. You're lucky to get her as your judge!

Interesting that all of the 10 stars reviews occured on the same day within hours - from the language used - it appears to be the same person. Every other review is one star or so and is reflective of how incompetent and lazy this judge actually is. She needs to be removed off the bench.

Judge Hong listens to both parties and renders a fair decision based on the law. We need more judges like her.

Judge Hong is fair to all parties and truly listens to make an informed decision. I wish all judges listened and did homework like her!

I am a former prosecutor and now a defense attorney and have appeared before Judge Hong in both capacities countless times. She is smart, competent and treats both sides with the utmost respect. Always a sigh of relief when I am sent to Judge Hong’s courtroom for trial. The first is that she is always on time and doesn’t make you wait all morning to start her docket. She is very pleasant and always willing to work out a fair deal which is favorable to both sides. Judge Hong also patiently listens to both sides involved-from a distraught victim to a crying , upset defendant’s family member. She can be tough on defendants when necessary, and will not hesitate to impose a long period of incarceration when they deserve it. Judge Hong possesses the perfect Judicial temperament which,I believe, should be a role model for the majority of her colleagues on the bench.

Judge Hong is the hardest working and most professional judge I know. She is incredibly competent and her vast knowledge of case law is evident in her careful and fair rulings. If she is your judge, justice will prevail!

These negative reviews clearly were written by parties/attorneys who lost their case(s). Judge Hong is quite professional and fair. That's all I would ask of a judge, regardless of the end result in any case.

In a courtroom, you won't always get the outcome you want. But with Judge Hong, you know that you're going to at least get a fair shake. She knows the law, she is prepared, and she'll treat you with respect no matter who you are. She's a model for other judges to follow.

Judge Hong is one of the most, if not the most, professional and fair judges I have ever worked with. She is knowledgeable on the law of every case, and she takes the extra time to issue written Orders. She is also kind to every person in her courtroom, even if they do not respect her rulings.

Biased, incompetent. It would be better if she would get off the bench - and quickly.

Judge Hong makes fair and carefully calculated rulings. It was a pleasure to have a judge that actually read over the case thoroughly and was competent and professional.

I was pleased with Judge Hong's ruling in my court case. I have been dealing with a difficult tenant and finally received justice.

Very poor judge. Interesting to see that the 3 high scores were on the same day and right after a very low score. Most of these are quite correctly very low scores.

Judge Hong always begins her trials and hearings on time. Other than that she is unprepared. Although she’s been a judge for a long time she is not knowledgeable.

The best thing about Judge Hong is her punctuality, but after that, things are questionable relating to her. She’s intelligent but makes decisions that come across as incompetent, but my opinion is she knowingly makes decisions to achieve a certain outcome which is more dangerous than incompetence. Incompetence can be overturned, but intelligence driven bad rulings can lead to bad laws. I have had multiple trials before her and she will definitely hold order In her court and impose the law, but it seems she may make rulings based upon how she feels about your client. Be sure to pay attention to every detail in your trials before her because you may need those notes for post trial motions and appeals.

In my experience with Judge Hong, she is one of, if not the most prepared judges on the bench. Her rulings are always detailed and balanced. Her orders are always thorough and consider all of the arguments. You may not get a decision in your favor every time, but she is always going to give you a fair chance and an opportunity to make your arguments.
