She felt it necessary to badmouth me in court knowing the abuse was substantiated. Instead of understanding that me telling abuser he is a piece of trash she got in her feelings and told me I should be ashamed. Accused me of going low. Failed to acknowledge I was defending myself against an attack when I said it. Her magistrate McIver is equally as bad. I have met many many women in Escambia who have been subjected to ongoing abuse because if the family court judges failure to understand the power dynamics of an abuser.

After experiencing the biased towards abuser treatment by Judge Pitre I was relieved to have my case reassigned to a judge that didn’t side with the abuser. Unfortunately I was wrong. This woman ordered me to give my exhusband my new address despite the permanent domestic violence order against him. I’m pretty disgusted by Escambia county. There is no excuse for these judges to do this. When I become a dv homicide victim they need to be held accountable as accomplices.
