This Judge is a disgrace to the entire legal system. She definitely does not follow the state of California laws which she has been sworn to uphold.

How in the world did this Judge ever get appointed to the bench? A probate Judge who doesn't even follow the mandated CA Probate laws she has sworn to uphold. What a disgrace to the entire LA Judicial Court System. This Judge recently handed an entire estate to the caregiver who finically exploited, isolated, neglected, and abused a 94 year old woman. She failed to read the Will Contests filed by two separate parties outlining the caregivers actions. No vulnerable individual or family is safe with this level of incompetence on the bench. This needs to be looked into as there is obviously something very serious going on with this [Redacted by Ed.] . For any Judge to completely ignore the basics of CA Probate Law is a total disgrace to the entire judicial system. A federal investigation needs to be initiated as well as an in depth review by the CA Attorney General. These attorneys who get a Judge to turn a blind eye will at some point be caught. Now it is clear to understand how the term fraud-gate got attached to this courthouse.

This Judge is a total disgrace to the entire California Judicial System. This judge does not follow the laws for which she has sworn to uphold. We all understand that no one is perfect and that even judges make mistakes but this judge fails to do her basic duties which in turn is endangering the lives of so many individuals. Somehow she needs to be held accountable for her own negligence.

pt 2 I am deeply disturbed by the conduct of Judge Jessica Uzcategui in my ongoing probate case. This case has been plagued by incompetence and neglect, and the judge's inaction has exacerbated the situation. Despite repeated warnings about the deteriorating conditions of my grandchildren, the court-appointed attorney failed to take any meaningful steps to protect their well-being. This attorney's negligence allowed for dangerous situations to arise, including the tragic overdose of a temporary guardian and the untimely death of another litigant. Causing our grandson to now be an orphan. Moreover, the judge's decision to appoint yet another attorney without addressing the systemic issues is a clear indication of a lack of concern for the children's best interests. The judge's failure to hold the previous attorney accountable for their negligence has emboldened a culture of indifference and incompetence. Most recently, the judge's decision to conduct a hearing without providing proper notice to all parties is a blatant disregard for due process. This action further demonstrates the judge's lack of fairness and impartiality. My family and grandchildren have been victimized by a legal system that has failed to protect them. The judge's actions have prolonged our suffering and exacerbated the harm inflicted upon our grandchildren. I urge the public to be aware of this judge's incompetence and to consider the potential consequences of appearing before this court.

Great judge. Judge Uzcategui knows her calendar, prepares and understands her cases. She listens to counsel, considers their arguments and makes rationale, well-reasoned decisions. A star in what is otherwise an incompetent judicial probate panel.

Judge Uzcategui renewed my faith in the justice system. After a hideous experience in small claims court with inept Judge Walmark and an illegal ruling, Judge Uzcategui over-ruled his denial of our appeal and allowed us to have our day in court...after which we WON the case he found against us! Very grateful that she took the time to actually look at the evidence.

Very professional. She holds her courtroom well. Gets to the facts and lets everyone know the rules. She was hearing an appeal in my case. I had a horrible judge rule in the plaintiff's favor based on emotion and not one piece of evidence. I appealed and Hon. Uzcatequi listened to EVIDENCE and ruled there was not enough evidence and the ruling for the plaintiff was overturned. Justice was done today. There was no proof and the plaintiff was lying to get money. Thank you, your honor. It takes a woman to get it right.
