Jillian Francis makes decisions that are detrimental to children and should be removed from the bench.

Jillian Francis makes decisions that are detrimental to children and should be removed from the bench. She ignores evidence and operates off emotion and not the law. I am appalled at how bad she is at her job, which is to act in children’s best interest. She does not.

She’s an inexperienced judge who has no idea what she is doing.

Judge Francis ruled fairly in a case she inherited from a previous judge.

Judge Francis ruled fairly in a case she inherited from a previous judge. She was patient with a pro se and seemed to be engaged and actively listening. The court staff, however, made some administrative errors in the final ruling that were frustrating and time consuming to correct. Overall, we were nervous about having a brand new judge but she ruled fairly and in the best interests of the kids; she didn't take extensive liberties to change schedules and time that the parties did not request . The only complaint would be that the written ruling did not go into much detail 'why' she ruled the way she did- it was written in a very PC manner that didn't call out the specific details of the case to support the ruling, which would have been an issue if there was a need to escalate further. Overall, it was nice to see a young Judge make fair decisions based on the law.
