John A. Gorman

This is one of the absolutely finest judges I have ever encountered. He is a quick study, fair, and easy to work with.

Had a trial with a pro se woman who was a few sandwiches short of a picnic. He handled the case extremely well. Very tolerant, yet kept things under control. Personable, efficient, intelligent. A pleasant experience under the circumstances. Would be happy to have another trial in front of him anytime.

Judge Gorman is one of the reasons that I purposely file cases in federal court whenever possible. He manages the case well, yet with flexibility where appropriate. No matter what the ultimate outcome of the case, you know he got it right.

Exactly what a judge should be.

Judge Gorman has been an outstanding judge dating all the way back to his days on the state court bench. He is intelligent, easy to get along with, and even handed to a fault. Too bad he is not a full district court judge.

Judge Gorman is practical, pragmatic, and very even keeled. He can handle just about any type of civil case and is the type of judge who works with lawyers instead of barking at them. I would consent to him in a heartbeat.
