John A. Jorgensen

Despite it being obvious that there was paperwork missing (26 exhibits!) Judge Jorgensen still adjudicated the case. He did so "on the papers" so I wasn't aware he didn't review my Exhibits until I questioned the ruling. He refused to re-issue a corrected Order instead insisting that I file a Motion for Reconsideration. He also failed to calculate a correct number for child support arrears, instead relying on a made-up number the Defendant threw out. He didn't provide any mechanism for enforcement of the Order either. It is hard enough having to be pro se, dealing with a Judge who is not doing his due diligence makes it near impossible. He will be retiring in a few months.

Judge Jorgensen was an excellent municipal court judge. As a Superior Court Judge, he is even better. A very smart man with a brilliant mind.

Sadly, this judge is an incurious moron. He has no business being a jurist and having anything to do with the lives of people.
