He expects all parties to be on time and prepared. He is very through in his decision making. He respected you as long as you respected him and even when you did not. He believed in effeciency and not wasting government money.

In my experience, Judge Adams heard parties and attorneys carefully at case management conference and crafted a schedule accordingly. Carefully monitored proceedings. Case was settled at a settlement conference after discovery but before expenses of dispositive motion practice were incurred by both sides. Expectations were made clear to litigants and parties at outset. I believe that he treated parties fairly and handled case expeditiously.

Primarily his decisions are those that no judge “no conscientious judge, acting intelligently, could honestly have taken the view expressed, that's if a view is expressed at all. He exudes his inability by constant denials without findings of fact and conclusions of law.

This judge is a miserable example of a federal judge. He treats lawyers and litigants like scum, like we are bothering him for asking him to do his job. His conduct is maliciously arbitrary and capricious. It is patently obvious that he loathes his job. He should do the legal community and society in general a favor and resign.

Judge Adams is not a good judge. He has a terrible judicial temperament, routinely treating counsel poorly. His arrogance is not supported by his legal acumen, which is average at best. His decisions, even when in your favor, are marked by harshness and not always supported by sound legal reasoning. He also takes inappropriate steps to insulate his decisions from appeal. If you draw Judge Adams, transfer your case or settle it, if at all possible.
