in my divorce case there is significant financial imbalance between the parties and both financial and non financial issues remain unresolved. Despite this the court granted a divorce without hearing oral argument and i firmly believe based their decision solely on the on the moneyed spouse's submissions/papers. In addition to waiving oral argument the court's order didn't even have the decency to explain what extraordinary circumstances warranted/justified this relief nor did the court give a thought as to how this divorce would affect/devastate the non-moneyed spouse. Again in my opinion i feel that the court's decision did not reflect meaningful consideration of both sides or the practical consequences of entering a judgement before all issues were resolved. As a the non-moneyed spouse i feel the court has failed to protect me as neither compassion or balance was executed and o sincerely hope that future litigants appearing before this court are treated with greater care.
